The Hopeful Outreach Team ran a series of workshops in the spring of 2009 called Career
Connections. The workshops included:
-Resume Writing
-Improving Interviewing
-Financial Planning for a Layoff
/ Unexpected Emergencie
-Networking
-Coping in Transition
-Building Mental Toughness
We are planning
to run these workshops again during the fall and early winter months. The days and times will be determined over the next
few months and new postings will be available once the workshops have been scheduled.
This is open to the public and
there is no charge for the service.
The purpose of Career Connections is to help those who are seeking new opportunities,
advancement, worried about their current position or have recently found themselves laid off or unemployed. Due to current
economic conditions, times are uncertain and today many find themselves seeking new opportunities. Our goal is to assist people
who find themselves in need as they search for new opportunities.
